WEBBER/SMITH Hires New Electrical Engineering Manager
LITITZ, PA, September 5, 2017 – WEBBER/SMITH Associates, Inc. (www.webbersmith.com), a full service multi-discipline engineering and building design firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen Laslo, P.E. as Electrical Engineering Manager, reporting to Vice President of Engineering, Jim Depew, P.E. Steve is responsible for technical leadership and supervision of the Electrical Engineering Department. Laslo will oversee the department’s electrical design and construction administration of site substation, facility medium and low voltage power distribution systems, building and site lighting, and equipment primarily for food and beverage processing facilities and distribution center projects. Steve specializes in substation design and switch gear assessment. He also has extensive expertise with emergency generator integration and UPS systems.

Prior to joining WEBBER/SMITH, Laslo was the lead electrical engineer for a consulting firm in York, PA serving a wide range of clientele in the municipal, healthcare and industrial manufacturing industries. Steve brings experience in leading teams in the design, construction and maintenance of electrical power systems.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and Pennsylvania with multiple other State registrations pending.
