Job Title: Structural Design Intern
Department: Engineering
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide design support in executing projects under the direct supervision of the discipline leader. Demonstrate commitment to professional development providing quality services to our clients in a team environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Support basic design in steel and concrete structures.
- Support preparation of drawings and sketches based on design direction from senior staff.
- Communicate and coordinate project work with other engineering disciplines.
- Review and reply to shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Potentially accompany senior staff on site visits to assist with observations of existing conditions or verify adherence to structural design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 4 years in an Architectural or Civil Engineering (Structural Option) Major
- Basic/essential level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (latest version preferred)
- Proficient with Windows-based software such as Word and Excel.
- Experience with structural analysis software is a plus, but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / LOCATION: In-person; working in our Lancaster, PA office
SALARY: Hourly position; compensation will be contingent on credentials and level of experience.

- Support preparation of drawings and sketches based on design direction from senior staff.
- Communicate and coordinate project work with other engineering disciplines.
- Review and reply to shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Potentially accompany senior staff on site visits to assist with observations of existing conditions or verify adherence to electrical design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 4 years in an Architectural (Electrical Option) or Electrical Engineering Major
- Basic/essential level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (latest version preferred)
- Proficient with Windows-based software such as Word and Excel.
